MONARCH WATCH SPRING OPEN HOUSE

Join us for a butterfly art activity at the Monarch Watch open house and plant fundraiser. This free, family friendly event includes tours of gardens, games, activities, face painting, monarch butterflies, and thousands of butterfly plants to purchase for your own garden. Monarch Waystation #1 is located on KU's West Campus and maintained by the Douglas County Master Gardeners.

Graduate intern and art history doctoral candidate Sarah Dyer explores the history, original location, function, and style of this impressive portal sculpture once placed over the entrance of a Late Gothic Spanish church.
